In the Wheel of the Year, Beltane is celebrated on the first day of May with this midway point between Spring and Summer. Many times, it is associated with May Day and the tradition of the May Pole, representing the phallus and a wreath, representing the sacred feminine vessel. The celebration is traditional with the fires of Beltane, the fires of Bel as they were called in reference to the Celtic God.

The Druids always lit two fires on Beltane to emphasize a balance of the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine. People and livestock would walk through the two fires to inspire purification and fertility. The fires empower rituals, and all of the summer themes including love, happiness and protection. The fires open up the doorway to the fae folk, the other side and the supernatural world. Join April, Harmony and Maggie as they share ways to celebrate this holiday!
